The Man Who Saved the World is a 1982 fantasy film directed by Çetin İnanç and starring Cüneyt Arkın. Along with Cüneyt Arkın, the movie stars Aytekin Akkaya, Füsun Uçar, Hüseyin Peyda, Hikmet Taşdemir and Necla Fide. The movie tells the story of two space pilots who go to an unknown planet because their vehicle breaks down and some important information they discover there. Two Turkish space pilots go into space again on a mission, but their spacecraft is damaged and they crash on an abandoned alien planet they do not know. On this planet, they learn that the Earth is in great danger and they try to get off the planet and save the world. Turkish Star Wars, which contains mummies, big feet, skeletons and robots with plenty of action scenes, is a movie successfully shot for its time, even though there are stolen music and scenes.
